Creative Lead

Kobase is the world’s first creative operating system (OS), built to eliminate the bloat, bureaucracy, and BS of the traditional agency model. We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded creative leader who is fed up with the old way of working and is eager to help shape the future of creative services. In your role, you will partner with a small core team of a strategist and producer, wear multiple hats, and leverage our proprietary Ko-Lab technology and vetted network of global talent to create world-class work you’re proud to put your name on. You will join Kobase on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. This is an opportunity to step into a foundational leadership role within a next-generation creative model, helping to shape culture, drive business, and move the world forward.

About your role: 

1 Deliver world-class creative work

• Set the vision for every project then hand-pick experts from our vetted global talent network to deliver creative solutions that meet the Kobase standards of excellence
• Inspire teams by showing, not just telling them, how to push the craft further

2. Own the client relationship:

• Partner with your core team members to embed into client workflows, positioning yourself upstream where creative strategy drives real business success

3. Grow the creative network: 

• Actively scour the globe for top-tier creative talent to add to our network, ensuring we always have the best minds ready to deploy

4. Eliminate the complexity:

• Partner with Tech and Ops teams to champion simplicity, dismantling barriers, streamlining workflows, and reinventing how creative work actually gets done

5. Build the Creative OS of the future

• Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize the Ko-Lab platform and make the creative process faster, smarter, and more human

• You bring 5+ years of startup or agency experience, but you are ready to ditch the old playbook and take full autonomy over how and what you create

• Your work proves you possess serious design and storytelling chops that translate seamlessly across every channel and tactic

• Your true passion is lifting others up, mentoring diverse talent, and helping them do the best work of their careers

• You can flex conceptually across all mediums and adapt your creative approach at the speed of culture

• You view AI as an opportunity to enhance your capabilities and are eager to test and adopt innovative new tools and approaches

• You command the room to effectively present, sell, and defend creative work, even when the conversation gets uncomfortable

• You know how to look at a room full of diverse experts and orchestrate them into a single, cohesive unit

Nuts and bolts:

• Initial term: 6 months
• Goal: Transition to a full-time Creative Lead role based on mutual fit and performance
• Competitive salary (full-time equivalent): $150,000 - $180,000 to commensurate with experience
