About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Software Developer to join our dynamic engineering team remotely from India. As a Junior Software Developer at NextMatch AI, you will be responsible for developing new features, optimizing existing systems, and integrating advanced AI models, including Large Language Models (LLMs), to enhance our platform's capabilities. You will collaborate closely with senior architects and product teams across different regions, including Canada and the UAE, to deliver high-quality solutions that impact millions of users worldwide. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about software development, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to innovative AI-driven projects.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess 1-3 years of relevant experience or demonstrate a strong portfolio from a reputable Tier-1 college or bootcamp. Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, and version control systems like Git is essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP will be considered a plus. Candidates should have a solid understanding of software development principles and be capable of writing clean, efficient, and scalable code. Excellent communication skills in English are required, as this role involves daily interactions with international teams. A proactive mindset, problem-solving ability, and a desire to understand the product deeply are critical attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy production-ready code using technologies such as Node.js, React, or Python, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Implement and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate processes like talent matching and other AI-driven features.
• Collaborate daily with senior architects and product teams located in Canada and the UAE to align development efforts with business goals.
• Optimize APIs, database queries, and system architecture to support high-volume data processing and ensure system scalability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
