Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Design Intern to be based in Denver, CO

This position is expected to begin Summer 2026.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks.
  • Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of science alternatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field and must have completed at least one year of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior internship experience, with general knowledge of architectural drawings.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
  • Working knowledge in Revit.
  • Well organized with strong communication skills.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $20 to $24.
