Embedded Software Design Engineer for Drive Systems

Job Summary

The Embedded Software Design Engineer develops and maintains embedded software for drive systems, including microcontroller programming and system-level integration. The role ensures software functionality, efficiency, and reliability while collaborating with hardware and cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software for drive systems (Brushless DC, Stepper, DC Motors).
• Implement software for various microcontrollers (C51, PIC, 32F0, CAN, PWM, UART).
• Develop and maintain software tools for testing and evaluation.
• Perform system-level integration and testing, including debugging and optimization.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Provide support for embedded system issues and troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation and version control of software developments.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded software design.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Knowledge of microcontroller architectures and peripherals (C51, PIC, 32F0).
• Experience with CAN, PWM, UART, and other communication protocols.
• Familiarity with software tools for embedded system development.
• Knowledge in automotive drive systems is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug embedded systems effectively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
