This is a foundational people role, not a back-office HR position.
As Recruiting Coordinator / People Ops, youβll own the execution layer of hiring and people operations β making sure candidates move fast, interview loops run cleanly, and employees have a smooth, professional experience from day one.
You are the person who makes sure:
- Interviews actually happen (on time, with the right people)
- Offers go out fast
- New hires are productive immediately
- People operations donβt slow the company down
Youβll work closely with founders, hiring managers, and ops to keep the company running at startup speed.
- Coordinate end-to-end interview scheduling across time zones
- Manage candidate pipelines in the ATS and keep data clean
- Ensure fast feedback loops and candidate follow-ups
- Prepare interview materials and hiring packets
- Help drive offer generation and closing logistics
- Create a high-quality, founder-level candidate experience
- Track hiring funnel metrics (time-to-hire, stage conversion)
- Identify bottlenecks in interview loops and fix them
- Keep hiring managers accountable to timelines
- Support onboarding: accounts, paperwork, first-week setup
- Maintain employee records and basic HR systems
- Assist with payroll coordination, benefits enrollment, and compliance
- Support visa-related coordination (OPT / CPT / STEM-OPT)
- Partner with founders and team leads on hiring priorities
- Support headcount planning and hiring calendars
- Help document internal processes as the company scales
β 1β4 years of experience in Recruiting Coordination, People Ops, or HR Operations
β Strong organizational skills β nothing slips through the cracks
β Excellent communication and follow-up instincts
β Comfort operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
β Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
β Bias toward action β you fix problems instead of escalating them
β¨ Startup or high-growth company experience
π§ Exposure to technical, GTM, or AI hiring
βοΈ Experience with ATS tools (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, etc.)
π Experience supporting multi-role hiring at once
π± Interest in growing into Recruiter, People Ops Lead, or HR Manager
