Job Title: React Native Mobile Developer / Technical Consultant

Location: Remote – United States - Must be EST or CST based

Salary: Up to $125,000 + benefits

An established IT consulting company is seeking a React Native Mobile Developer / Technical Consultant to deliver high-quality mobile solutions across a variety of client projects. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on React Native development and feels comfortable engaging directly with customers to understand requirements and shape technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native.
• Work with advanced React Native architecture and tooling, including Fabric, TurboModules, JSI, Metro configuration, and native modules.
• Implement and optimize navigation, state management, and data fetching using React Navigation, Zustand, and React Query.
• Collaborate with clients to gather business and technical requirements, clarify objectives, and propose effective solutions.
• Translate customer needs into technical designs, estimates, and implementation plans.
• Work closely with internal teams (developers, architects, project managers) to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance and reliability.
• Contribute to best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement across the mobile development team.

Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience building mobile applications with React Native.
• Solid understanding of React Native architecture, including Fabric, TurboModules, JSI, Metro configuration, and native modules.
• Proficiency with React Navigation, Zustand, and React Query.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Comfort working directly with customers: gathering requirements, presenting options, and explaining technical concepts in clear business language.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with iOS and/or Android native development (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java).
• Background in consulting, professional services, or client-facing project work.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps and app store deployment processes.
