About Your Role

At Nexters, we create games that capture the hearts of millions of users worldwide. We are seeking an experienced and creative UI Artisy to work on our flagship mobile project, Hero Wars Alliance. In this role, you won’t just be enhancing interfaces, you’ll be crafting a user experience that will stay with players for years to come.

You’ll be an integral part of the Nexters team, actively involved in creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that elevate the game to a new level. Working closely with game designers, you’ll have a significant impact on the overall gameplay experience, making it even more immersive and enjoyable.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and produce high-quality game UI assets, including HUDs, menus, meta-game screens, pop-ups, icons, buttons, and in-game overlays.
• Develop and maintain a cohesive UI visual style aligned with the game’s art direction, genre expectations, and target midcore audience.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers and game designers to transform wireframes and gameplay requirements into clear, readable, and engaging interfaces.
• Optimize UI visuals for multiple resolutions, aspect ratios, and device performance, especially on mobile platforms.
• Identify and proactively resolve visual, technical, or usability issues related to UI during development and post-launch.
  
  

We hope that you have

• Strong understanding of visual design principles: composition, color theory, typography, contrast, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to create clear, readable, and aesthetically consistent UI for complex game systems and long play sessions.
• Experience designing UI for different game states: gameplay, meta, menus, pop-ups, tutorials, and live events.
• Skill in creating icons, UI elements, and interface graphics that communicate functionality intuitively.
• Understanding of genre conventions and player expectations in midcore games.
• Basic understanding of UI implementation concepts: anchors, layouts, states, layers, and resolution scaling.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Figma
• Autonomy and Proactiveness: We value artists who take initiative and propose ideas without waiting for instructions
