💰 €50,000–€70,000 + bonus

About the Role

Our client has quietly revolutionised how delivery works in the UK. Over 20 years, their CEO built delivery software from scratch that now powers operations for Morrisons, Amazon, and a nationwide network of their own services. Millions of parcels, newspapers, and essentials reach doorsteps every day because of what they've built.

Now they're ready for the next chapter. They're completely rewriting their platform — taking two decades of hard-won domain expertise and rebuilding it with a modern stack: React Native for mobile, TypeScript on the backend, and the freedom to make the right architectural decisions without legacy constraints. This is greenfield work informed by real-world scale.

This is a rare setup: enterprise stability with startup energy. They're investing in engineering talent to build something exceptional. You'll ship fast, break things, own your code, and have direct access to the CEO and CTO. No layers. No politics. Just building.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship features across mobile (React Native) and backend (TypeScript/Node.js)

• Work directly with CEO and CTO to define requirements and translate them into working software

• Take full ownership of features from concept to production — no hand-offs, no waiting

• Help architect the new platform, making decisions that will scale for the next decade

• Build tools that drivers, dispatchers, and operations teams rely on every day

• Move fast, ship constantly, and iterate based on real feedback from real users

Who You Are

• 2+ years of full-stack development experience — you've shipped production software

• Strong React Native experience — you've built mobile apps that real users depend on

• Solid TypeScript/Node.js backend skills — comfortable with APIs, databases, and system design

• Bias for action — you don't wait for permission, you make things happen

• Product-minded — you think about users first, not just code correctness

• Excellent communicator — you can talk to leadership about requirements and trade-offs

• Thrive with autonomy — you take ownership and deliver without hand-holding
