Senior 3D Web Animation Developer

Required Qualifications

Technical Requirements

• Expert-level Three.js experience with a portfolio demonstrating complex 3D web animations and interactive experiences
• Strong proficiency in WebGL, GLSL shaders, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience optimizing 3D animations for web performance across devices and browsers
• Solid understanding of 3D graphics principles: lighting, materials, camera controls, physics, and animation loops
• Proficient with animation libraries and tools (GSAP, anime.js, or similar)
• Experience with React Three Fiber or other Three.js frameworks is a plus

Ad Agency Experience (Critical)

• 2+ years working in advertising, creative, or digital agencies building interactive campaigns and branded experiences
• Proven ability to translate creative briefs and design mockups into polished, production-ready 3D web experiences
• Experience collaborating with creative directors, designers, copywriters, and account teams in agency workflows
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines and adapting to rapid iteration cycles
• Portfolio showcasing work for brand campaigns, product launches, or interactive advertising experiences

Work Requirements

• EST timezone availability for real-time collaboration with internal teams and clients
• Ability to start immediately and commit to a focused 1-month engagement
• Flexible to work hybrid in NYC or fully remote
• Strong communication skills and proactive project updates
• Comfortable working autonomously while maintaining agency standards
