At our Siemens Foundation Technologies R&D Center in Prague we are focused on a product development including software development, hardware development, mechanical design, and testing for the next generation concept of Industry 4.0.
We are looking for a new colleague to join our test automation team for the "S7-410" series of Process Automation PLCs. We develop and maintain our own test automation tools to verify integration of new firmware features and assure continued functionality of previously integrated features, in order to ensure continued excellence to Siemens customers.
Your task will be:
- Working experience with Process or Factory Automation software AND hardware (Ideally Siemens devices and software such as (PCS7, TIA, ...)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and with limited information
- Good communication skills, ability to relay information both verbally and through text
- Able to ask for help when stuck
- Basic electric engineering skills, understanding how AC / DC voltage works
- Working experience with Process or Factory Automation software AND hardware (Ideally Siemens devices and software such as PCS7, TIA,0 ...)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and with limited information
- Good communication skills, ability to relay information both verbally and through text
- Able to ask for help when stuck
- Basic electric engineering skills, understanding how AC / DC voltage works
- Proficiency in C#, ideally with working experience 1+ year (Optionally different C based language, or experience with OOP )
- German language
- Ability to work as a part of a diverse group, fit in
- Experience with a task tracking software (ideally ADO, optionally Jira, etc.)
- Proficient with GIT or at least basic understanding
- Experience with test automation tools
- Knowledge of Profibus/ Profinet/ Ethernet communication
- Knowledge of secure communication
