We’re looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy improving system reliability, deployment speed, and collaboration between development and operations teams in a remote-first environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and services
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Manage and optimise cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Collaborate with developers to improve deployment and release processes
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
- Implement security best practices and compliance controls
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Maintain documentation for DevOps processes and tools
- 1–5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure roles
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)
- Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
- Fluent in English
- Based in Australia with full legal right to work full-time
- Fully remote position within Australia
