We’re looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure that supports scalable and reliable applications. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working with cloud platforms, automating deployments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and IT teams to ensure scalable and secure systems
- Monitor cloud performance, availability, and cost optimisation
- Troubleshoot cloud-based system issues and implement solutions
- Implement best practices for cloud security, backup, and disaster recovery
- Maintain documentation for cloud architecture and processes
- Stay up-to-date with cloud technologies, tools, and industry trends
- 1–5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or IT infrastructure
- Proficiency in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of networking, security, and system administration in cloud environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
- Fluent in English
- Based in Australia with full legal right to work full-time
- Fully remote position within Australia
