Swift Developer for EdTech Platform

About the Role

We are looking for a Swift Developer who can design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications for MetBrains’ learning platform. The role involves working closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to build reliable, user-friendly mobile experiences that enhance learner engagement, mentor effectiveness, and overall platform performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain iOS applications using Swift

• Implement clean, scalable, and maintainable code following iOS best practices

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless mobile experiences

• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services

• Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and stability

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues

• Ensure application security, data privacy, and App Store guidelines compliance

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions

• Maintain and improve existing iOS features and modules

• Stay updated with the latest iOS, Swift, and mobile development trends

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Strong experience with Swift and iOS development

• Good understanding of iOS frameworks (UIKit, SwiftUI, CoreData, etc.)

• Experience with API integration and mobile app architecture (MVC, MVVM)

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

• Understanding of mobile performance optimization and debugging tools

• Experience with App Store deployment and review processes is a plus

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote, global team environment

• Interest in building mobile solutions for education, learning, or mentorship-driven platforms
