We are now seeking an experienced Growth Director to report to our Chief Commercial Officer, playing a critical role in driving revenue growth, expanding key accounts and supporting APO Group’s continued expansion across the continent.

The Role
As Growth Director, you will be responsible for driving new business, expanding existing client relationships and contributing directly to APO Group’s commercial strategy.
You will work closely with senior leadership, PR and Strategic Communications teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to design, pitch and close complex solutions tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Development
- Identify and target new prospects; create account plans and annual/quarterly forecasts aligned with company objectives
- Drive new business across all APO Group services
- Lead negotiations and close new sales
- Develop tailored, complex offers based on client needs
- Pitch solutions and create compelling proposals
Client Retention & Satisfaction
- Ensure retention and growth of all retainer clients
- Maintain strong client relationships and positive feedback
- Drive client growth strategies in collaboration with PR & Strategic Communications teams
Project & Team Coordination
- Develop client documentation including SLAs, SOWs and business proposals
- Conduct client surveys, gather feedback and recommend service improvements
- Collaborate with internal teams to define scope, deliverables, timelines, budgets and resources
CRM & Reporting
- Use HubSpot CRM to maintain accurate client records, opportunities and forecasts
Client Engagement
- Participate in client progress and review meetings
What You Will Bring
Experience
- Strong sales or business development background, ideally within communications, media or PR
- Demonstrated understanding of public relations and strategic communications
- International experience is a strong advantage
Skills
- Confidence engaging and negotiating with C-suite executives
- Proven consultative selling experience and ability to close large contracts
- Track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Management consulting experience is a strong plus
