Windows Systems Administrator (Contract) - 6 months

Chicago, Dallas or Remote are OK. This is a 6 month contract.

Experienced Windows Systems Administrator with a strong background supporting enterprise‑level environments across Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022. Skilled in advanced system administration, operational support, and complex problem resolution for both physical and virtual infrastructures.

Responsibilities:

• Advanced Windows Server administration across mixed OS environments
• Break/fix support for Windows Server and third‑party applications
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues and coordinating with internal teams or vendors for resolution
• Patching and vulnerability remediation participation
• Adherence to change management processes and compliance requirements
• Support for server OS migrations
• Execution of additional operational duties as needed

Skills & Experience:

• Experience working with distributed teams across multiple locations
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 administration
• PowerShell scripting and automation
• VMware administration and virtual server management
• NAS/SAN and general networking knowledge
• Active Directory administration
• Software deployment via SCCM or similar tools
• Vulnerability remediation experience
• 5+ years of enterprise‑level Windows Server installation, operations, and maintenance across physical and virtual environments'
• Pay: 50-70/hr
