Job Title: Senior BI Analyst / Power BI Developer

Location: Remote

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 DOE

The Role

We are seeking a Senior BI Analyst / Power BI Developer with extensive experience in data modelling, reporting, and dashboard development. You will work closely with investment teams to deliver insightful, high-quality reporting solutions that support strategic decision-making. This fully remote role provides flexibility and the opportunity to work with global teams from anywhere in the UK.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimise Power BI dashboards and paginated reports to provide actionable insights across investment teams.
  • Build and maintain dataflows and ETL pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, and other data sources.
  • Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures for large datasets.
  • Apply Python for data manipulation, automation, and advanced analytics.
  • Develop semantic models, manage incremental refreshes, and ensure efficient dashboard performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
  • Support colleagues through training and mentoring on Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Power BI, including semantic model development, DAX, and paginated reports.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL/data pipelines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and Power Automate.
  • Python programming for analytics or automation tasks.
  • Knowledge of asset management or financial services reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in remote working environments and Agile methodologies is a plus.
