Startup description: Statiq.club is a creative agency that specializes in performance design for eCom brands & agencies, from ad creatives, email designs, landing pages, and more. Boasting a portfolio of +100 brands that includes some of the fastest-growing e-commerce brands in the world, Statiq's designs reach millions of viewers each month. Founded in 2024 and originating from France, Statiq now embraces a fully remote work environment with a growing team of 20+ people across 3 countries, with the majority based in the Philippines.
Schedule: Full-time position of 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, Paris time zone (4 pm to 1 am Manila).
What you’ll do:
- Lead, coach, and support a team of 8-12 designers to consistently deliver high-quality creative work.
- Run regular 1:1s focused on performance, growth, feedback, and designer well-being.
- Support onboarding, ramp-up, and ongoing development of new and existing designers.
- Review creative work at a directional level, providing guidance on concept, storytelling, and brand adaptation.
- Reinforce creative quality standards across all design outputs and act as an escalation point for creative questions or judgment calls.
- Identify skill gaps, recurring quality challenges, and growth opportunities, and collaborate with QA and Ops teams to address them.
- Support hiring by reviewing portfolios, participating in interviews, and help with hiring decisions to maintain quality as the team scales.
- Encourage a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years as a designer (agency or in-house), with a strong portfolio.
- 1–3+ years of experience leading, mentoring, and/or coaching designers, ideally in a remote setup.
- Strong understanding of performance creative, particularly ads for digital platforms.
- Experience working across multiple brands with fast turnaround cycles.
- High creative standards and the ability to give clear, actionable feedback.
- Highly motivated, with a sense of urgency and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
