Lead QA Analyst (Web3) โ Up to $120K base salary
Amicus has recently partnered with an innovative Blockchain foundation who spearhead projects aiming at uplifting both their community and the wider Ethereum ecosystem.
They are currently searching for a Senior/Lead QA Analyst to own their QA strategy, scale automation, and ensure that their products consistently meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the overall QA strategy, including automation coverage, quality metrics, and release readiness criteria.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks (web, mobile, APIs, and smart contracts integration).
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions etc.) to support continuous delivery.
- Lead test planning, execution, and reporting for major releases, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define acceptance criteria and ensure testability of requirements.
- Build tools and processes for cross-browser, cross-device, and wallet integration testing.
- Mentor other QA engineers/analysts, providing guidance on automation, bug triage, and process improvements.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in QA/software testing, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead capacity.
- 2+ years of experience in the Web3/Blockchain space.
- Proven track record of building and scaling test automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Puppeteer, etc.).
- Strong experience with CI/CD integration for automated testing pipelines.
- Familiarity with Web3 technologies : smart contracts, wallets (MetaMask, WalletConnect, hardware wallets), blockchain transactions, gas estimations.
- Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, Linear, TestRail, etc.).
- Able to accommodate team overlap time: 2pm-6pm CET.
Preferred Skills:
- Solid understanding of smart contract development frameworks (Hardhat, Foundry).
- Background in security and performance testing for blockchain and dApps.
- Programming experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python (for building automation tools/tests).
- Prior experience scaling QA in a startup or high-growth environment.
Compensation:
- $90K-$120K base salary.
- Fully remote.
