Embedded Firmware Engineer (ESP32) - Audio Processing and Low-Power Optimization

About us: Our client is looking for an Embedded Firmware Engineer to develop and optimize ESP32-based systems, working across the full lifecycle from prototype to production, with a strong focus on audio processing, low-power optimization, and close collaboration with hardware and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware for ESP32 (C6, S3 preferred) using embedded C/C++
• Build and optimize systems from prototype to production hardware
• Implement audio processing, DSP, and streaming audio (WebSockets / UDP)
• Optimize BLE proximity, low-power usage, deep sleep, and battery management
• Work on IMU motion tracking, low-latency systems, and on-device AI inference
• Collaborate closely with hardware iteration and manufacturing timelines

Requirement:

• ESP32 (C6 and S3 preferred), embedded C/C++
• Experience developing from prototypes to production hardware
• Audio processing, DSP, streaming audio via websockets/UDP, BLE proximity, low-power optimization, deep sleep, battery management, IMU motion tracking, low latency, on-device AI inference
• Experience moving prototype hardware into production
• Comfortable working alongside hardware iteration and manufacturing timelines
