We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to support the second phase of a critical Firewall migration programme. The project involves migrating Cisco ASA Firewalls to Palo Alto Firewalls across 3 sites with a firm deadline due to Cisco ASA end-of-life in September.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform configuration migration, testing, and cutover from Cisco ASA to Palo Alto Firewalls
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during Firewall migrations, including IPsec VPNs on Palo Alto
- Carry out fault finding during and post-migration, identifying root causes and implementing fixes
- Use appropriate diagnostic commands and logs on both Cisco ASA and Palo Alto platforms
- Proven experience migrating Cisco ASA Firewalls to Palo Alto Firewalls
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills on Palo Alto, particularly IPsec VPNs
- Deep understanding of Firewall configurations, policies, NAT, routing, and HA
- Palo Alto certifications such as PCNSA, PCNSE
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under tight project timelines
