Role Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate Kubernetes clusters using Kubespray
• Manage Kubernetes resources, upgrades, and routine lifecycle tasks
• Automate infrastructure and configuration with Ansible
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
• Automate and support application deployments to Kubernetes
• Monitor clusters and applications; troubleshoot performance and incidents
• Apply security best practices (RBAC, secrets, patching)
• Support development teams and document operational procedures

Must Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (cluster operations, workloads, upgrades)
• Practical knowledge of Kubespray for Kubernetes cluster deployment
• Strong experience with Ansible for infrastructure and configuration automation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals
• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting production systems
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker / OCI)
  
  

Nice To Have Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or hybrid environments
• Knowledge of Helm or other Kubernetes package management tools
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools beyond Ansible (e.g. Terraform)
• Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Basic security knowledge (Kubernetes security, image scanning, secrets management)
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python)
• Experience working in Agile / DevOps-oriented teams
