Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate Front-End Developer to join our team in a full-time, fully remote role. As an Associate Front-End Developer, you will work closely with senior developers, designers, and product teams to build, enhance, and maintain user-facing features across Loyal To Cumbria’s platform. You will play an important role in translating designs into functional interfaces and supporting ongoing improvements to usability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Front-End Development & Implementation
- Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces
- Implement designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in line with best practices
- Contribute to building and maintaining reusable UI components
- Work closely with designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional web pages
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and dynamic data
- Participate in code reviews and development discussions
- Test front-end features across browsers and devices
- Identify and resolve UI bugs, styling issues, and layout inconsistencies
- Support performance, accessibility, and usability improvements
- Stay up to date with front-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices
- Apply feedback to improve code quality and development efficiency
- Continuously develop skills in responsive design and accessibility standards
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
