💻 WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design and develop market connectivity infrastructure for ultra-low latency trading systems using FIX protocol and TCP/IP networking at the middleware layer
• Drive the technical migration from legacy systems to modern C++ architecture, making key decisions on performance optimization and system simplification
• Own end-to-end delivery of features—from collaborating with business stakeholders on requirements through to production deployment and post-implementation support
• Solve complex multi-threading and network protocol challenges that require deep technical problem-solving, not just syntax knowledge
• Mentor team members and participate in architectural reviews that shape the platform's future direction

🎯 WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Essential Experience:

• Strong expertise in modern C++ (C++17 minimum, C++20 preferred) with deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and the standard library
• Solid foundation in TCP/IP networking and socket programming—whether from finance connectivity, multiplayer game backends, telecom infrastructure, or distributed systems
• Production experience with multi-threading and concurrent programming in performance-sensitive environments
• Problem-solving mindset that prioritizes finding elegant solutions over perfect syntax
• Japan-based with valid work authorization (visa sponsorship status to be confirmed during interview process)

Bonus Points:

• Hands-on experience with FIX protocol or financial market connectivity systems
• Background in low-latency optimization for trading or real-time systems
• Linux networking and systems programming expertise
• Experience working in global team structures across multiple time zones

📍 WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Hybrid model with 3 days in Tokyo office and 2 days remote after onboarding period. English is the primary working language for this global team—Japanese language skills are nice to have.
