DevOps Engineer - Cloud-Native Security Platform

DevOps Engineer – Contract - 6+ months

Cloud Bridge Technology Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing Security Startup to hire an experienced DevOps Engineer on a 6 month contract. This role will support the scaling of a cloud-native platform at the core of an innovative security product.

The Role

You will work closely with engineering and security teams to build, automate and operate a highly scalable, secure cloud environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable working in a startup environment where speed, ownership and reliability matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and operate cloud infrastructure supporting their products.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid, secure deployments
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation best practices
• Support containerised and microservices-based platforms
• Embed security and reliability into the platform from day one
• Work closely with developers to improve platform performance and resilience

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer in cloud-native environments
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Pulumi or similar)
• CI/CD tooling experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
• Containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong Linux and scripting skills
• Experience working with security-focused or high-growth startup environments is highly beneficial
