The HR Experience Specialist role is a hybrid of Customer Support and Global HR, with expertise in the Japanese market required.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Is bilingual in Japanese and English (written and spoken)
- Has prior HR operations or HR support experience in Japan, including familiarity with local labor laws, employment practices, and compliance requirements
- Is comfortable working in a ticket-based support environment, responding to external and internal stakeholder inquiries with accuracy, clarity, and empathy
- Is able to obtain a Haken (labor dispatch) license (or already holds one).
- Own end-to-end HR support for the Japan entity, with a strong focus on day-to-day HR operations, employee questions, and compliance-related requests
- Answer and resolve HR support tickets for Japan and other global markets, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent support across regions
- Act as the Market Lead and subject matter expert (SME) for Japan from a support perspective, while also contributing as a generalist on global HR support tickets
- Create, maintain, and improve internal documentation and self-service resources to reduce repeat inquiries and enable scalable support
- Support HR operations and initiatives outside of Japan as needed, flexing to global priorities and volume (this is a hands-on support role)
