Senior C++ Software Engineer - Global Trading Firm

We are seeking an experienced C++ engineer to join a global trading company. The systems you build and maintain are central to everything happening in the trading domain. Technology and Trading teams work closely together to explore new ideas, define technical direction, and continuously improve the platform.

As part of the Core Software team, you will:

Who You Are

• A software engineer with a strong passion for writing clean, correct and maintainable code
• Interested in architectural and strategic problem-solving, with a pragmatic mindset focused on delivery
• 4+ years of professional experience (prior finance experience is not required)
• Solid computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, memory and concurrency models, CPU architecture, operating systems, and relational databases
• Strong experience with C++ and Linux, or a clear willingness and ability to learn quickly on the job
• Comfortable picking up new languages and technologies such as Python, C# etc
• Open to both junior and senior engineers with strong fundamentals and a desire to grow
