About The Opportunity
Hiring for a growing technology organisation in the Enterprise Software / SaaS space that builds web-scale business applications and B2B platforms. The role is for a hands-on engineering team focused on delivering performant, secure, and maintainable web products for enterprise customers.
We are seeking a Python Full Stack Developer to join an on-site delivery team in India; the role requires strong back-end expertise in Python paired with modern front-end experience to own end-to-end product features.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and Django to support product features and integrations.
- Develop responsive front-end components using JavaScript and React; collaborate with UX to translate wireframes into production UI.
- Integrate relational databases (PostgreSQL) and implement efficient data models, queries and migrations for high-throughput workloads.
- Own feature lifecycle: specification, implementation, automated testing, CI/CD, and deployment on on-prem/cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimise performance, and implement monitoring, logging and security best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams on technical design, code reviews, and delivery planning in an on-site setting.
Must-Have
- Proven experience building backend services with Python and Django
- Strong front-end development using JavaScript and React
- Hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query optimisation)
- Familiarity with Git, unit testing and CI/CD workflows
- Ability to work full-time on-site in India and collaborate in a fast-paced engineering team
- Experience with Docker and container-based deployments
- Exposure to AWS (EC2, RDS, S3) or other cloud platforms
- Experience with asynchronous task queues (Celery) or GraphQL
