Mid-Level DevOps Engineer (AWS + Jenkins)

Contract | Remote | Client-Facing Role

We’re looking for a mid-level DevOps-focused engineer with a strong foundation in AWS and modern DevOps practices to join our team on a full-time contract basis. This is a 100% remote role, working closely with international clients, so strong communication skills are essential.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, while collaborating directly with client teams. This role requires hands-on technical execution, reliability, and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
• Manage and support AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.)
• Implement and follow DevOps best practices for deployment, monitoring, and security
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and infrastructure issues
• Work directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance
• Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  

Required skills and experience

• 3–5 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS
• Solid experience configuring and managing Jenkins
• Good understanding of CI/CD concepts, automation, and infrastructure best practices
• Experience with Linux environments
• Strong spoken and written English (client-facing role)
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup
• Strong ownership mindset and accountability for deliverables
• Experience with Docker or container-based workflows
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Monitoring and logging experience
• Prior experience working with global or enterprise clients

Work details

• Work Hours: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM IST
• Location: 100% Remote
• Contract Duration: 6 months
  

Compensation

• Pay range: 1,500 to 2,000 USD per month subject to experience
• Full-time contract engagement
