Lead Data Analytics Engineer
Series C, Profitable Software Company
We’re partnering with a high-growth, Series C software company that is redefining how data is used across the organization—treating data not as a reporting function, but as a true data product. The company is already profitable and has achieved 3X year-over-year growth for the past four years, with no signs of slowing down.
This is a unique opportunity for a senior analytics engineer who wants to build, influence, and lead, with a clear path toward becoming Head of Data as the company continues to scale.
The Role
As the Lead Data Analytics Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the data strategy, architecture, and culture. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to design analytics solutions that drive decision-making and unlock customer value.
This role is hands-on today, with increasing ownership and leadership responsibility over time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the evolution of the company’s analytics platform into a scalable data product
- Design and build robust data models using DBT on Snowflake
- Work with PostgreSQL and production data sources to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver clean, trusted, and well-modeled analytics
- Help introduce and shape analytics workflows using Omni (modern BI built by the Looker founders)
- Establish best practices for analytics engineering, documentation, and governance
- Mentor others and help define the future data organization
Technical Stack
- PostgreSQL
- Snowflake
- DBT
- Omni (BI / Analytics Layer)
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in analytics engineering or data engineering roles
- Deep SQL expertise and experience modeling data for analytics
- Hands-on experience with DBT and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)
- Curiosity and openness to modern BI tools like Omni
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions
- A builder’s mindset—comfortable with ambiguity and growth
The Growth Opportunity
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Wants to grow into a Head of Data role in the coming years
- Enjoys building systems from the ground up
- Is excited by high-growth, product-driven environments
- Wants influence over strategy, not just execution
Why Join
- Profitable, well-funded Series C company
- 3X growth year over year for four consecutive years
- High visibility and executive support for data initiatives
- Chance to define the future of the data organization
If you’re excited about building modern analytics, shaping data culture, and stepping into leadership as the company scales, this role offers a rare combination of stability, growth, and long-term upside.
