Senior Java Developer & Lead (Timişoara) m/f/d

Your Tasks:

• Technically shape our product and support architectural decisions in collaboration with product management
• Lead a part of our software and quality engineers (up to 12 people) — our leadership onboarding will prepare you for this task; be your direct reports’ partner in their professional development
• Drive development and contribute to the transformation of our application into a service-oriented solution
• Be a technically excellent partner to internal stakeholders including professional services, CloudOps, and customer service
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies and trends in the software engineering domain, actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our product and processes.

Your Experience:

• University degree in Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, preferably working on product lines
• Team lead experience is a plus, particularly if you’ve supported colleagues to “outgrow” you
• Strong understanding of Cloud-native application architectures and programming by contract
• In-depth knowledge of Java, Eclipse OSGi and other modularization frameworks, gRPC, Docker, GitLabCI, Bash scripting; knowing Flutter, Dart is a plus
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain SW products based on user experience and business value
• You are an opportunity seeker and have the ability to lead the way
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowing German is a plus
