Job Description

As a Commercial Director, your main responsibilities will include:

Commercial Strategy & Leadership

  • Lead and shape global commercial direction.
  • Develop and strengthen the commercial function, including forecasting, pricing strategy, pipeline management, and annual/quarterly planning.
  • Drive continuous revenue growth across sponsorships, exhibition booths, brand activations, experiential offerings, and emerging monetisation channels.


Team Leadership

  • Oversee, mentor, and expand a team comprising BD Managers, Account Managers, and future commercial hires.
  • Establish strong processes, provide coaching, and ensure accountability within the team.
  • Set the tone as a hands‑on leader, fostering a high‑performance, collaborative, and low‑politics environment.


Business Development

  • Shape pricing strategies, packaging of offerings, and negotiation playbooks.
  • Support major deal negotiations and manage relationships with enterprise-level partners.
  • Grow and diversify the global partnership ecosystem.


Revenue Generation and P&L management

  • Roll out CRM best practices, reporting structures, and reliable forecasting models.
  • Work closely with operations, creative, and production teams to ensure seamless and exceptional delivery for partners.


The Successful Applicant

A Successful Commercial Director Should Have

  • 5-12 years experience in commercial leadership roles.
  • Extensive experience in sales and business development, preferably within the financial technology, B2B industry.
  • Background in management consulting, investment banking, enterprise sales, SaaS, fintech, or events is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills - concise, structured, clear.
  • Demonstrably successful track record in revenue / profit generation.
  • Strong strategic thinking with operational discipline.
  • High emotional intelligence and strong leadership presence.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passionate about the crypto and Web3 industry.
