Position Overview: Full-stack Engineer - Data Analysis and Visualization
- Seeking a full-stack engineer with a strong background in data analysis and data visualization. This engineer will help prototype and build tools connecting designers and trend analysts to a combination of internal and 3rd-party datasets, building high-quality analysis, reporting and visualization tools on top of them.
- The ideal candidate is a full-stack engineer who is capable of combining data from multiple sources, implementing some basic analysis (with guidance from the data science team), and delivering beautiful visuals through a front-end experience.
- Although this role does not necessarily require GenAI experience, it will involve working within an application with GenAI capabilities. Some familiarity with the GenAI ecosystem is strongly desired but not required.
Qualification:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Expertise in front-end development, specifically React.js
- Expertise in back-end development, specifically Python
o Nice-to-have: Fastify
- Strong knowledge of SQL
o Nice-to-have: Trino experience
- Strong track-record of delivering results in the data visualization space.
- Cross-functional experience working with analysts or data scientists to bring data to life.
- Strong knowledge of standard Agile practices
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices
o Must have experience of pushing code from git to production.
- Experience developing solutions in a containerized microservice environment.
- Strong track-record of working in an ambiguous environment
