HCM Systems Administrator

Des Moines, IA (100% Relocation would work)

Description

This job's time zone is Central.

We are looking for an experienced HCM Systems Administrator to join our client's team in Des Moines, Iowa. This role supports and enhances a global Human Capital Management platform, ensuring HR and payroll teams have a reliable, compliant, and well-optimized system. The HCM System Administrator will work across modules and regions to maintain configuration standards, support users, and drive ongoing system improvements. The position starts as a contract engagement with the opportunity to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities:

System Support & Optimization

Manage HCM configuration including workflows, security, and role-based access

Support system updates, enhancements, testing, and integrations

Monitor data accuracy and resolve system or user issues

Build and maintain reports and dashboards for HR and business leaders

Partner with vendor support teams to troubleshoot issues and apply best practices

Business Partnership

Work with HR, Payroll, IT, and Finance to understand requirements and improve processes

Help prioritize enhancements and maintain a forward-looking system roadmap

Training & Enablement

Provide day-to-day user support for HR, Payroll, managers, and employees

Create documentation and deliver training to drive system adoption

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience

3+ years of experience administering an HCM or HRIS platform (Dayforce experience strongly preferred)

Solid understanding of HR and payroll processes, compliance, and data management

Experience supporting multi-location or global HR systems

Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions
