What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex Epic security-related issues using business and data analysis
• Perform user provisioning, integrations, audits, and daily operations of the Epic Security team
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures
• Identify risks and collaborate with the Epic Security team and ITS Leadership for risk mitigation
• Manage ongoing security roles and controls for Epic and interconnected applications
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent education and/or experience
• Minimum of 2 years of IT experience, preferably in mission-critical clinical information systems
• Demonstrated experience working with Epic or comparable EHR systems
• Proven ability to independently gather requirements for creating or modifying roles in healthcare applications
• Experience with database management, programming, or access

• Experience independently creating and managing end-user workflows
• Familiarity with vendor application architecture related to healthcare systems
