- Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex Epic security-related issues using business and data analysis
- Perform user provisioning, integrations, audits, and daily operations of the Epic Security team
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures
- Identify risks and collaborate with the Epic Security team and ITS Leadership for risk mitigation
- Manage ongoing security roles and controls for Epic and interconnected applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent education and/or experience
- Minimum of 2 years of IT experience, preferably in mission-critical clinical information systems
- Demonstrated experience working with Epic or comparable EHR systems
- Proven ability to independently gather requirements for creating or modifying roles in healthcare applications
- Experience with database management, programming, or access
- Experience independently creating and managing end-user workflows
- Familiarity with vendor application architecture related to healthcare systems
