Senior / Staff Software Engineer

We’re looking for a senior/staff level engineer to lead backend systems for a developer-facing platform that sits close to modern identity and blockchain infrastructure. You’ll own core backend architecture, build secure APIs and workflows, and partner closely with protocol, product, and design teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and build backend services for a developer platform
• Own high-quality, production REST APIs with strong guarantees (versioning, idempotency, security, reliability)
• Build secure systems for credentials and financial systems using start of the art cloud-native technologies
• Partner with protocol and product teams to expose complex systems through clean, developer-friendly interfaces and code.
• Set engineering standards, lead design reviews, and mentor other engineers as the platform scales

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years building backend systems at senior or staff level
• Strong backend experience in TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python
• Deep understanding of API design, authentication/authorization, and secure system design
• Hands-on experience running backend services in AWS
• Product-minded engineer who can turn complex workflows into simple, reliable developer experiences
