Software Engineer, User Interface - Electrophysiology

The Senior Software Engineer (User Interface) will have a key role in the development of user interfaces and workflow for cutting edge medical applications.The responsibilities will include:

• Generates UX ideas and implements prototypes to collect user feedback on workflow and usability.
• Design and develop simple solutions for complex medical problems in the areas of user integration, interface and experience.
• Participate creating system level enhancements for advanced 3D visualization technology.
• Collaborate across disciplines effectively (HW, Systems) to focus and maximize end-to-end solution value.
• Participates in preclinical system experiments in the lab, with physicians, and 3rd parties.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of related experience with a BS Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience. 3 - 6 Years with MS, 1 - 3 Years with PhD
• Experience programming in C++
• Experience with QT and OpenGL
• Experience with 3D graphics programming
• Experience with scrum framework
• Experience with developing in a Linux environment

1. Software Engineer – User Interface

• Location: Hybrid in Waltham, MN or Arden Hills, MN. For an excellent candidate, will consider 100% remote.
• Must Haves: C++, QT, Linux and Usability experience. Can be from any industry, does not have to be from Medical Device (Wahoo!!!), but of course any medical device experience would be great.
• Other: Relocation and Visa candidates will be considered depending upon candidate skill set and experience. Relocation would be a lump sum or 100% remote may also be considered.
