We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically curious Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about data infrastructure, automation, and enabling data-driven decision-making in a remote-first environment.

• Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across systems.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and engineers.
• Optimize data processing performance and pipeline reliability.
• Support data modeling and data warehouse development.
• Document data architectures, workflows, and best practices.

• 0–3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related roles (internships or project experience accepted).
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala).
• Familiarity with data warehouses and databases (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data modeling principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Exposure to workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, Prefect) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time.
