Position: Office.js Coding Expert – Excel Agent AI Training

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $80/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Review Office.js scripts generated by AI models and Excel’s “Record Actions” feature.
• Modify and correct JavaScript code to ensure compatibility with Excel and accurate outputs.
• Validate script performance by comparing generated .xlsx files against expert reference files.
• Translate natural-language prompts into precise, executable Excel logic.
• Collaborate asynchronously with prompt writers and spreadsheet experts to finalize high-quality datasets.
• Provide clear, structured corrections to improve code reliability for AI training workflows.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Office.js and JavaScript, specifically for Excel add-ins and automation.
• Strong relevant software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Excel APIs and spreadsheet automation.
• Excellent debugging, testing, and script validation skills.
• Ability to interpret requirements and convert them into accurate spreadsheet logic.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
