Front End Engineer (AI + Computer Vision)

Role Description

We are seeking a Front End Engineer (AI + Computer Vision) to join our core team. In this role, you will be the primary owner of our front-end architecture, creating the interface through which users interact with thousands of AI-powered camera feeds and IoT sensors.

You will work at the cutting edge of AI-driven coding, refining AI-generated solutions and integrating them into an enterprise-grade platform. You aren’t just building a dashboard, you are building the visual nerve center for the physical world’s security.

Responsibilities

• Front-End Ownership: Take full ownership of the entire front-end development lifecycle, from architecture to deployment.
• System Integration: Collaborate closely with the team to integrate front-end components with our AWS cloud infrastructure and FastAPI backend.
• AI Code Excellence: Evaluate and refine AI-generated code, ensuring it meets strict industry standards for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance AI-driven coding solutions, ensuring they meet enterprise-level performance benchmarks.
• Visualizing Intelligence: Create high-performance UI interactions that make complex AI security data intuitive for users.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional front-end development experience building responsive, user-facing web applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React JS, and NextJS.
• Design Obsession: A deep passion for learning great design from industry leaders and staying ahead of the curve in User Experience (UX).
• Solid understanding of component lifecycle, hooks, and state management.
• Expertise in CSS, Tailwind, responsive design, and fluid UI animations.
• Experience with performance optimization: lazy loading, caching strategies, and asset optimization.
• Strong understanding of APIs and client-server communication (REST, GraphQL).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating analytics, monitoring, and front-end security best practices.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker).
• Knowledge of backend technologies (Python, databases, authentication) to enable seamless full-stack collaboration.
• An adaptable, detail-oriented mindset that thrives in a high-velocity startup environment.

Location & Expectations

• Location: Fully remote.
• Visa Sponsorship: We are currently US-based. While this role starts remote, we aim to build a highly effective in-person team in the Bay Area. We will consider Visa Sponsorship for exceptional performers following a successful evaluation period.

Compensation

• CTC : 25 - 30 Lakh INR per annum.
