Senior SRE / Ops Engineer (AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes) - B2B SaaS

Company Profile

Growing B2B SaaS provider delivering cloud-based solutions to enterprise customers is seeking an SRE / Ops Engineer to lead their infrastructure and operations domain.

The Role

• Lead the entire AWS-based infrastructure from design to operations (VPC, EKS/ECS, RDS, CloudFront, IAM, WAF, etc.) for a production SaaS platform.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code implementation using Terraform/AWS CDK and build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, CodePipeline).
• Establish SRE practices including log aggregation, monitoring, alerting systems, and incident response frameworks.
• Conduct operations testing of offshore Dev team deliverables to ensure quality from a customer perspective.
• Implement security measures including vulnerability management, IAM/WAF design, and change management processes.
• Collaborate with Customer Success teams on first-line response, issue triage, and log analysis infrastructure.
• Build product metrics infrastructure to automatically collect usage and performance data.
• Reporting directly to leadership with a clear career path to grow into Head of SRE as the team scales.

Your Skills

• Production operations experience with AWS (VPC, EKS/ECS, RDS, CloudFront, IAM, WAF, etc.).
• IaC design and operations experience using Terraform/AWS CDK.
• CI/CD pipeline construction experience using GitHub Actions/Bitbucket Pipelines/CodePipeline.
• Container orchestration operations experience with Kubernetes.
• Monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation operations experience (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, OpenSearch, etc.).
• Understanding of security best practices (vulnerability management, patch application, change management).
• Practical Scrum development experience (as Scrum Master or Developer).
• Preferred: Multi-tenant/SOC2/ISO27001 compliance experience, offshore team collaboration in English, Python/shell scripting.
