🚀 We’re Hiring: Technical Founding Team Member (AI / ML) – Remote

PROTEGEY is building a unified fraud intelligence, risk, and trust infrastructure for Africa, starting with Francophone & Northern Africa.

We operate at the intersection of AI, data, security, and compliance, helping fintechs, banks, and digital platforms detect fraud and operate safely at scale.

We’re looking for a Technical Founding Team Member to join us early and work closely with our CTO, Engineering Lead, and Product Lead on AI- and data-driven systems.

🧠 About the Role
This is a hands-on, learning-intensive role, ideal for someone early in their career who wants real exposure to production-grade AI/ML systems.
You don’t need to be an AI expert — what matters is curiosity, strong fundamentals, and the ability to learn fast.

🔧 What You’ll Do
Work alongside the Engineering and Product leads on AI/ML features
Support the development of fraud detection and risk scoring models
Assist with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model testing
Participate in product discussions and technical decision-making
Help turn ideas into working prototypes and production features.

🎯 Who This Role Is For
Strong interest in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science
Academic or practical background in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields
Comfortable with Python and basic data/ML tools
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
Able to work collaboratively in a remote startup environment

Language requirements:
Fluent in English and Arabic
French is a strong plus
