Senior ETL Data Test Engineer

This is a great permanent opportunity for a Senior ETL with approx. 8+ years experience that is seeking a fully remote role.

Ideally you will hold current SC Clearance.

Senior ETL Data Test Engineer

Location: Fully Remote - they may be the odd occasion where site presence is required (London)

Salary: £77,000

Key Experience:

• Experience of testing in data projects (eg ETL pipelines, data migration, data ingestion)
• Experience of developing and executing Test automation using SQL, Python and AWS services (Lambda, Glue, Redshift, DynamoDB)
• Software Quality Assurance experience which includes Data Warehouse Testing
• In-depth knowledge of Data warehouse concepts
• Extensive exposure to Back-end/ETL Testing with good level SQL skills is required
• Ability to evaluate Business requirements and determine the types of testing that must be conducted (ie, data validation, regression, etc.)
• Should have strong Test Process orientation and familiarity with Test Scenario identification and Test Data preparation techniques and knowledge of Test Documents to be prepared ie Requirement Traceability, Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test evidence, etc.
• Should be able to create a comprehensive Test Plan and Test Cases that support the business and technological solutions being delivered
• Thorough knowledge of Software Test Life Cycle, Test Case Life Cycle, Defect Life Cycle, etc.
• Should have exposure to Agile, Jira, and Test management tools eg, ALM, RTM, Test FLO, Zephyr, etc.
