Job Description

Cloud Technologies Ltd is looking for a skilled and passionate Laravel Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-quality web applications, developing scalable backend solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

·       Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel (8/9/10+)

·       Write clean, efficient, and reusable PHP code following MVC architecture

·       Design and manage MySQL databases, migrations, and seeders

·       Build and consume RESTful APIs

·       Implement authentication, authorization, and validation logic

Frontend & Integration

·       Work with Blade templates, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap/Tailwind

·       Integrate frontend functionality using JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX

·       Ensure UI responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility

·       Collaborate with designers to accurately implement UI/UX designs

Application Maintenance & Optimization

·       Debug, fix, and optimize existing applications

·       Improve application performance, security, and scalability

·       Refactor legacy code when required

·       Handle production issues and provide timely resolutions

Collaboration & Delivery

·       Work closely with senior developers, QA, and project managers

·       Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards

·       Contribute to sprint planning, task estimation, and delivery timelines

·       Maintain proper documentation for developed features

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory

·       2+ years of professional experience with Laravel

·       Strong knowledge of PHP, OOP, and MVC concepts

·       Solid experience with MySQL and relational database design

·       Hands-on experience with Blade templating

·       Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations

·       Working knowledge of Git/version control

·       Ability to work on multiple modules simultaneously

Preferred / Nice to Have

·       Experience with queues, jobs, caching, and cron jobs

·       Basic understanding of server environments (shared/VPS)

·       Knowledge of Laravel Breeze / Jetstream / Sanctum

·       Exposure to performance optimization and security best practices

·       Experience working in an agile development environment
