Senior Network Data Engineer
Role Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Data Engineer to lead the design and delivery of advanced data solutions within telecommunications OSS environments. This role focuses on crafting scalable data pipelines, defining data architecture strategy, and enabling analytics capabilities—fully remote and for a 12-month period.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and development of data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage of OSS operational data (KPIs, alarms, inventory, performance).
- Define and evolve data strategies for both real-time and batch analytics applicable to service assurance, fault management, and performance analytics.
- Mentor and guide other engineers on data modelling best practices, optimization, and engineering standards.
- Partner with Network Engineering, Solution Architects, and Operations teams to turn business needs into scalable data solutions.
- Implement data governance, security, and quality assurance across all systems and flows.
- Design and support dashboards and visualizations for both operational and executive insights.
- Enable data feeds for AI/ML use cases, including real-time streams and model training integrations.
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or relevant field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in data engineering roles, ideally within telecom or OSS contexts.
- Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka).
- Deep understanding of telecom network data, OSS systems (fault/performance management, inventory, NMS).
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP) and big data architectures.

- Duration: 12 months
- Location: Fully Remote
- Engagement: Senior technical lead focused on data engineering strategy and delivery
- Day Rate: €400 Per Day
