As our team continues to grow, we are excited to welcome a new Quantitative Analyst to our ranks.
Your role at Skanestas:
We are seeking a Quantitative Analyst who will play a significant role in our expanding core team. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with team members, generate innovative ideas, rapidly test research hypotheses, and contribute to the development of trading algorithms.
You will:
·        Conduct in-depth research and quantitative analysis of market inefficiencies in live trading environments.
·        Perform data mining, data cleaning, and verification for research purposes.
·        Provide results in the form of reports and presentations, accompanied by tables and visual aids.
·        Study academic and industry literature on algorithmic trading and propose new trading strategies.
·        Participate in team research projects.

Development: Python, Numba, Cython, Rust, C/C++
Infrastructure: Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Providers
Database: PostgreSQL, QuestDB
What makes you a great fit:
·        Higher education in statistics, mathematics, econometrics or computer science.
·        Practical experience in a Quantitative Analyst position in a fintech company for at least 3 years. Experience in an environment related to data research with real-world application in stock trading.
·        Strong analytical background and quantitative skills.
·        Good knowledge of probability and statistics.
·        Python programming level: Middle+ (experience related to data analysis).
·        Responsibility, autonomy and proactivity.
·        Experience as Financial Quantitative Analyst, or in a related role performing quantitative analysis will be a plus.
- Native or bilingual proficiency in Russian.
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
