Customer Service Rep (Remote) Only Accepting applications from Louisville, TN, Greenville, SC and Bentonville, AR

Location: Remote

About The Role

  • We are seeking qualified contractors to fulfil the role of Tier 1 contact center agents) for State of TN Family Assistance programs
  • This opportunity is open to individuals located in Bentonville, AR, Louisville, TN, Greenville, SC and the surrounding areas.
  • The right candidate will enjoy building relationships with customers, adapt quickly to change, and demonstrate grit that will inspire others to strive for superior results
  • Work remotely Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. CST.
  • Training Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST - 1 week of training and 1 week of nesting/mock calls
  • Contractors will be engaged and paid for by a third-party payroll supplier, BC Forward, which will serve as the employer of records for tax and compliance purposes.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties:

  • Providing assistance with customer portal account creation and maintenance as well as address inquiries regarding SNAP and Families First Programs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls, chats, and or emails
  • Conduct outreach phone calls and or emails
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Recognize and follow call flows with scripts
  • Research and review customer inquiries using multiple systems
  • Relay research findings and outcomes to customers
  • Identify and escalate appropriate issues
  • Clearly document call information and encounters in call logs
  • Recognize and alert management of risk and trends
  • Quickly transition from one task to another
  • Maintain a professional demeanor
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of call center experience
  • 2-Years Customer Service experience
  • Strong Data Entry Skills
  • Proficiency with computers, experience using the internet, email, MS Outlook, Teams, Excel and Word
  • Strong listening, verbal and written communication experience
  • At home internet access sufficient to handle calls received via the internet
  • Quiet and private remote work location

Compensation Disclosure:

  • Compensation for contractor roles supporting Accenture is determined by the contractor’s employer BC Forward, and varies depending on factors such as location, role, skill set, and experience.
  • As required by law, below you’ll find the reasonable range of compensation BC Forward expects to pay for this role if hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.   • Compensation Range: $19.00 - $19.40
