💼 Key Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL and data pipelines using AWS services
- Process real-time data from Kafka streams and S3 storage
- Build scalable data solutions using Python, PySpark, and PyAthena
- Develop data transformation logic for analytics and regulatory reporting
- Design optimized data models and schemas
- Implement automated data quality checks and monitoring
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and performance issues
- Contribute to data architecture and infrastructure decisions
- Ensure systems meet performance, security, and compliance standards
- Continuously improve data pipelines for scalability and reduced maintenance
✅ Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of professional Data Engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Python (as a primary programming language)
- PySpark
- PyAthena
- ETL pipeline development
- Solid experience with:
- AWS services – S3, Glue, Athena, EMR
- Kafka or streaming data platforms
- SQL and database systems
- Pandas or NumPy
- Experience with Linux operating systems
