We are building the clean data layer for modern AI systems. Our platform helps companies turn messy, unreliable data into accurate, validated inputs using a combination of AI and expert human review, delivered through a simple API that integrates directly into existing data pipelines. Starting with financial services, our long-term goal is to make clean data effortless for every team that depends on it.

As the platform scales, we are hiring a Founding Engineer to help build and evolve the systems at the heart of the product. This is a high-impact role at an early-stage, YC-backed company, ideal for an engineer who enjoys working across the stack, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to help define both the product and technical foundation from the ground up.

Your Role

You will design, build, and scale core data extraction, retrieval, and validation systems. Working closely with the founder and early team, you will take ownership of critical workflows spanning backend services, data pipelines, LLM-powered systems, and user-facing tools. This is a broad, hands-on role with direct influence on architecture, product direction, and how customers experience clean data at scale.

What You’ll Do

▪️ Design and build backend systems for data extraction, validation, and retrieval

▪️ Develop and optimize AI-powered workflows for speed, accuracy, and reliability

▪️ Work across the stack, including Python services, data and LLM pipelines, and TypeScript-based interfaces

▪️ Experiment with, fine-tune, and evaluate LLMs on real-world data challenges

▪️ Build internal tools and automation to improve engineering velocity and data review quality

▪️ Collaborate closely with the founder to shape product strategy and technical direction

What You Bring

▪️ 2+ years of experience in full-stack, backend, or infrastructure engineering (full-time)

▪️ Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to work across systems and data layers

▪️ Experience with Python and enthusiasm for working with AI in production environments

▪️ Familiarity with TypeScript or a willingness to learn quickly

▪️ Comfort taking ownership from idea to shipped product in an early-stage setting

▪️ A mix of technical competence, strong work ethic, curiosity, and kindness

Package

▪️ $150,000 to $250,000 base salary, depending on experience

▪️ Competitive early-stage equity with meaningful upside
