Project Overview:
We are a fast-growing team developing innovative microelectronics-based solutions for the automotive industry. Our components are designed to communicate, measure, regulate, and control key vehicle functions related to safety, comfort, powertrain, and networking.
Our Latest Products Include: Lighting systems, LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), Ultrasonic ranging, Object and gesture recognition,
Thermal management, Electronic fuse control, Smart Sensor Platforms (SSPs), and others.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience in software development or testing for embedded software in the automotive industry (alternative railway or medical)
- Basic understanding of embedded C programming, with the ability to define suitable test cases
- Proficient in software testing tools
- Experience with scripting languages using Python
- Knowledge of automotive bus systems, in particular LIN, CAN, FR, and DSI3
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Computer Engineering or a comparable technical qualification
- Solid documentation skills
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Polarion, Enterprise Architect, SVN, and GIT
- Understanding of the Automotive SPICE methodologies
- Understanding of the ISO26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO21434 (Cybersecurity)
- Background in requirements-driven SW development
- Understanding of electronic circuits, familiarity with hardware tools, including oscilloscopes
- Experience with bare-metal development
- Responsibilities:
- Develop test specifications for product-oriented development of embedded technical software on 16/32-bit microcontrollers
- Implement, optimise, and maintain automated tests using the Robot Framework using Python scripting
- Participation in the review process
- Collaborate with hardware/system teams to support testing and validation activities.
