Front End Developer (Remote)

We are looking for a Front End Developer to join a collaborative team working on modern, user-focused web applications with a geospatial twist. The role is fully remote and initially offered as a 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension.

You will be responsible for building and enhancing enterprise-grade front-end applications using Ext JS and Angular, integrating with REST APIs and working closely with UX, backend, GIS, and DevOps teams.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, responsive web applications using Ext JS and Angular

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver high-quality user experiences

• Integrate mapping libraries and geospatial services into applications

• Consume and integrate REST APIs (JSON/XML) with front-end code

• Ensure secure coding practices and modular development

• Work with backend, GIS, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

• Support Agile delivery in Scrum ceremonies

Skills Required

• Strong experience with Ext JS (Sencha Ext JS)

• Solid Angular development experience

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills

• Experience with REST APIs and web services (JSON/XML)

• Version control experience (Git or TFS)

• Agile/Scrum delivery experience
